The way I see it, if you’re gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?

I decided my next project would be the Delorean from Back to the Future. My family and I just watched the original, and it inspired me. The print is from Makerworld, and I am printing it in different PLA colors to use up what I have on hand. This was originally set up to multicolor print and glue together and be done, but I want a more professional look, so I will be sanding and filling in the layer lines and painting. It’s going to take me possibly a week and a half on-and-off printing. It’s 15 plates of parts. I have already had one failed print,, the back end, which I am reprinting. As always, here are some pics of the work in progress

Sorry, I did not provide as many updates on this as I went along. Holidays got really busy and it was hard to properly document. Also, this project did not turn out as well as I wanted it to. I am learning, and this project helps me see some shortcomings I have in painting. Particularly large surfaces. The body of the car just did not turn out.
